WE LOVE ALL THE NATURAL SHOTS, BUT DO YOU TAKE ANY GROUP PHOTOS?
Absolutely! For most of a wedding, I’ll be taking those relaxed and natural photos that you love, but there’s always time for a few group photos. It’s a great chance to have photos taken with your nearest and dearest, to show off just how fancy you all look!
WHERE ARE YOU BASED, AND DO YOU TRAVEL?
I’m based in Derbyshire, which puts me in a great position to cover weddings across the East and West Midlands, Yorkshire, Cheshire, Lancashire, Staffordshire, and beyond. I regularly travel further afield too, and I’m always happy to discuss destinations further from home. What’s not to love about a long drive and a nostalgic playlist! If you’re unsure whether I cover your area, just get in touch.
HOW MANY PHOTOS WILL WE GET?
It varies from wedding to wedding, depending on the number of guests, the size of the venue, how long the day runs, and how hard the DJ works the dancefloor! That said, most couples receive somewhere in the region of 500 to 550 finished images.
WHAT’S YOUR STYLE OF PHOTOGRAPHY AND YOUR APPROACH?
Documentary is the short answer. The longer answer is that I treat your wedding like a story worth telling properly, which means staying out of the way and letting things happen naturally rather than engineering moments that wouldn’t have existed otherwise. You won’t catch me asking you to recreate anything or posing you up every five minutes. I’m just there, in the mix, making sure nothing gets missed.
HOW DO WE BOOK, and do we pay a deposit?
Drop me an email or a message through my contact form to check I’m available for your wedding date. If you’d like to chat further, we can meet in person if you’re local, or have a video call if not. When you’re ready to book, just give me the nod, and I’ll send you a booking form to get everything confirmed.
To secure your date, a deposit of £400 is required at the time of booking, with the balance due 2 months before the wedding.
