There are thousands of little moments during a wedding day. Maybe even hundreds of thousands. Little interactions, glances, gestures, smiles, trips and tears. As photographers, there’s no way we can be there to capture every one of these, but what we can do, is train our eye to be on the look out for them and to be in the right place at the right time. I suppose we develop a kind of sixth sense over time, to see things a little before they happen. I’d noticed this brother and sister throughout the day; they’d been playful and good-natured, but the well-intentioned brother had been tasked with taking photos for his parents, and was a little intrusive with his sister. It was only a matter of time, I thought, before he pushed her too far. Et voila!
