Hi, and thanks for visiting! If you're here, then you've probably just booked Staunton Harold Hall as your wedding venue. Congrats! It's a stunning place, isn't it! Living in Melbourne, we regularly drive back along Ashby Road, and the view of Staunton Harold Hall down in the valley is one of our favourites!
As you probably already know, Staunton Harold Hall is an exclusive venue, with a limited number of weddings each year, so I'm super excited to be one of their recommended suppliers. As a little way of celebrating this, I'm offering a complimentary pre-wedding shoot to everyone who books Staunton Harold as their wedding venue. Just complete the form at the bottom of the page.
If you're wondering what exactly an engagment shoot (or pre-wedding shoot) is, then here are the basics.
These shoots have risen in popularity over the last few years. They're a way to celebrate the engagement and to have some photographs created of the pair of you together in the time leading up to your wedding day.
You may have seen images like this, either from friends or websites. The predominant trend for these shoots is for them to be styled and choreographed with lots of posing. Like a sort of portrait shoot.
This is where my engagement shoots differ.
As a documentary wedding photographer, I wanted to offer engagement shoots that are more of a 'fly on the wall' or 'day in the life' shoot than a straight portrait shoot. You won't be peering out from behind trees, jumping off walls or wearing serious looks on your faces while you stare into the distance. Nope. All you have to do is be yourselves, and enjoy your time together.
To get the ball rolling, just pop your details in the form below. When it comes to talking about yourselves, be as chatty as you like. We can then start to work out dates, ideas and locations for your shoot.
