A Fun Spring Wedding at Grangefields in Derbyshire

Some weddings are all about the formalities. Charlotte and Aaron’s was not one of them. From the moment they arrived at Grangefields—a stunning barn venue tucked away in the Derbyshire countryside—it was clear this was going to be a day of pure fun. With the spring sunshine beaming down and a laid-back atmosphere that felt more like a really great party than a traditional wedding, these two did things their way. No stress, no stiff poses—just a whole lot of love, laughter, and maybe a few questionable dance moves (which we’ll get to later).

Grangefields was the perfect backdrop for a day that didn’t take itself too seriously. The vows were heartfelt but filled with giggles, the drinks flowed, and at no point did anyone try to wrangle guests into a 45-minute formal photo session (because, honestly, who enjoys that?). Instead, Charlotte and Aaron spent their day exactly how they wanted—soaking up the sun, hugging a lot of people, and embracing the inevitable chaos of a good wedding. Here’s how it all went down…
