2018 Wedding Photography Highlights

Thanks, 2018! It was fun.

Well, that’s it. 2018 is well and truly in our rear view mirrors and another wedding season in the bag. Last year took me to some amazing new venues such as Hampton Court House, Shustoke Barn, and Papplewick Pumping Station. And one of the things I love about photographing weddings is that it takes me all over the country, exploring new places. It also took me back to some old favourites like Mythe Barn, Swancar Farm, and Beeston Walled Gardens.

This time of year is often a time for looking back to the previous year, and it’s no different here in wedding photography land (no, it’s not a very niche theme park). These ‘End of Year’ slideshows give me a chance to look back at all the weddings I was a part of. And it’s so great remembering all the moments that I shared with my couples, and the laughs I had with their family and friends. It gets me all fired up and excited for the coming year, too!

I had stacks of images to choose from for this highlights video, and if I’m honest, it could quite easily ended up being half an hour long. But I wanted to keep it short and sweet, and to the point. To show some of the highlights of the year, and some of my favourite moments from the weddings I photographed.

So, without any more waffle from me, here are my favourite moments of 2018 in 90 seconds. The music’s a big part of it, so if you’re at home, turn your speakers up, and if you’re out and about, pop your headphones in, and enjoy!
