The Cheshire Venue Wedding

An Autumn Wedding at The Cheshire Venue

Lauren and Leanne’s October wedding at The Cheshire Venue was one of those beautiful, character-filled days where, even though the weather was throwing a wobbly, the setting, atmosphere, and good fun more than made up for it. As a Cheshire venue wedding photographer, I love days like this. There’s something kinda magical about a rustic barn in candlelight with laughter echoing under a vaulted ceiling while the Cheshire countryside rages outside. The venue’s twinkly lights, handcrafted staircase, and cozy interior made for a warm, intimate backdrop.

Inside the converted barn (known as Teddie’s Barn), guests found refuge from the autumn weather, sharing smiles, hugs and stories while candles flickered. The rustic charm of The Cheshire Venue let Lauren & Leanne’s personalities shine through. Relaxed, real, and totally unfazed by the drumming of rain or swirling leaves outside. Even when your hair’s getting ruffled by gusts, you can’t let the weather get in the way of you enjoying your big day!

Rustic Cheshire Wedding Venue

The Cheshire Venue has that rare mix of rustic charm and thoughtful versatility. Exactly what many couples want; a space that can feel intimate and relaxed, or polished and elegant, depending on the vibe. Its main barn, known as Teddie’s Barn, is a converted two-storey barn with a vaulted ceiling, a handcrafted staircase, and romantic fairy-light ambience. That means whether you’re planning a cosy gathering of closest friends or a fuller reception, you get a backdrop that photographs beautifully, with beams, natural textures, and plenty of character A dream scenario for any Cheshire venue wedding photographer.

Cheshire Venue For Smaller Weddings

One of the strongest draws of The Cheshire Venue is how flexible it is. For smaller weddings, there are intimate spaces like the Twilight Loft. For larger celebrations or group gatherings, there’s the option of using the Tipi Field or erecting a marquee/stretch-tent, together accommodating up to around 250 guests. On a practical level, that means you don’t have to compromise. Whether you imagine a small, relaxed dinner or a full evening party, the venue bends to your needs. And thanks to exclusive-use hire and on-site accommodations (including the lovely guest house, The House at School Farm), you and your nearest can settle in without worrying about transport or late-night logistics.
