Looking for your Cheshire Wedding Photographer?

Getting married in Cheshire? Great choice. It’s a county that somehow manages to do everything well; elegant country houses, buzzing city venues in Chester, and some genuinely brilliant hidden gems tucked away in the countryside. There really is something for every kind of couple.

I’m based in Derbyshire, so Cheshire is well within my patch, and it’s a county I genuinely enjoy shooting in. I’ve had some brilliant days photographing weddings there, including one at the wonderfully bonkers Cheshire Woodland Weddings, where guests were treated to a birds of prey show, archery, air rifle shooting, crazy golf, and Segways! As a documentary photographer, a venue like that is an absolute dream.

Cheshire Documentary Wedding Photography

When it comes to photographing your Cheshire wedding, my job is pretty simple: stay out of the way, keep my eyes open, and make sure nothing worth remembering gets missed. No lengthy portrait sessions dragging you away from your guests, no stiff family line-ups that make everyone look like they’d rather be somewhere else. Just honest, natural photography that captures your day the way it actually happened, full of the moments and the people that made it so special.

Cheshire Wedding Photography FAQ

A: Cheshire is well within my regular stomping ground, and travel is always included in the package price. So there won’t be any surprise costs or out-of-area fees.

A: Honestly, new venues are part of the job, and I genuinely enjoy being at a venue for the first time. I always arrive early, have a good look around, and chat with the venue team so I know the space before things kick off. My documentary approach means I’m reacting to what’s happening rather than following a rigid plan, so a new venue doesn’t change anything.

A: Of course. I know the documentary stuff is the main event, but a handful of family groups is always fine if it’s something important to you. We’ll keep the list short, move through them quickly, and get you back to your guests before anyone notices you’ve gone.

A: Just click the button below! Tell me a bit about yourselves and your wedding date, and I’ll come back to you within 24 hours. If I’m free, we can jump on a quick video call to have a proper chat.
