An Autumn Wedding at Yeldersley Hall in Derbyshire

I knew things were going well when in our early emails, we found a shared love of the Alien movies as well as some slightly more obscure musical tastes. So when the morning of Harry & Venetia’s wedding rolled around, I was looking forward to a day photographing some bloomin’ lovely people who were definitely my kind of folks. And what a day it was! Harry and his brothers were all on top form when I arrived at the family home, and it was wall-to-wall jokes and banter. Over at Yeldersley Hall, Venetia was getting ready, and things were a little calmer, but still, the place was in high spirits, and the smile count was high!

After a lovely ceremony at the local church, St Michael’s in Kirk Langley, the couple and their guests descended on Yeldersley Hall for the celebrations. We got some sun, drinks were had in the walled garden, the best man brought some literal fire to his speech, and the dance floor saw some of the greatest moves I imagine Yeldersley has seen in years!
