A Fun, Smiley Wedding at Alcumlow Barn in Cheshire

Love wasn’t the only thing in the air at Vicky & Johnny’s wedding at Alcumlow Barn in Cheshire. As well as the air being filled with the sound of people laughing for pretty much the whole day (just look at the number of smiles in these photos. I lost count!), Vicky’s bouquet also enjoyed an air-born moment later on in the day. It might not be so common place these days, but it’s usually a really fun moment. And if there’s one thing this documentary wedding photographers love, it’s a fun moment.

Not that their day needed anything extra to get the smiles going. This pair brought all the smiles you need. And something I often remind my couples is that they set the tone for the wedding. Put your silly hats on, and you’ll usually find your guests match your silly; if you’re the emotional sort and find yourself tearing up throughout your day, then expect your guests to be right there with a packet of tissues. This pair totally brought the smiley vibe to their big day, and their guests didn’t disappoint in backing them up with an endless stream of smiles and laughs that made it the best day to be a part of. Here’s just a few of my favourite moments.
