I love this photo of Ruth and Josh, just married at their outdoor ceremony at The School House in Weeford. Happy, newly married, sat down in the sunshine, with all of their family and friends gathered around them. That’s what it’s all about. The sort of day that is a joy to photograph. This pair are both very close with their family and friends, so there was lots of wonderful smiles, hugs, and laughs to photograph throughout the day. Not to mention the bridesmaids and groomsmen disappearing for a wade down the stream that runs through the grounds. Perfect way to cool off on a hot summers day.

Getting Married at The School House in Weeford

The School House is a great venue if you’re looking for a range of locations for your big day. Ruth and Josh opted for an outdoor ceremony inside the bandstand at the bottom of the hill. It has tons of space next to it, which can be great for lawn games, family photos, or just somewhere to let the kiddos burn off some energy after those 3 pieces of wedding cake!

Climbing back up the hill to the main venue, you have the Wyatt Pavilion, which is where this special day carried on the party once the ceremony was over. Starting with speeches in the marquee, then some relaxing and mingling on the terrace, enjoying the weather and the views. Then, as the sun was setting, back indoors for the cake cutting, first dance, and partying into the early hours.

And being situated pretty central in the country, it’s a great place if you have guests coming from all corners of the UK.
