Ansty Hall Wedding

Ansty Hall Wedding Photographer

An April Wedding at Ansty Hall in Warwickshire

With Summer now a distant memory, catching up on blogging this year’s weddings gives me a much-needed reminder of what it feels like to have warm weather. Looking back to when I was Sarah & Rhys’s Ansty Hall wedding photographer is the perfect antidote to these rather gloomy winter evenings.

Bridal Prep at Home

I met Sarah in the morning at their home, and it was great to be able to capture the morning’s preparations in a place that clearly means so much to her and Rhys. Her mum was telling me how much love and effort they’d poured into it, so I was only too happy to be able to include this in the photos.

St James’ Church Wedding Ceremony in Ansty

And so to the lovely Warwickshire countryside for the wedding ceremony. St James’ church sits just behind Ansty Hall, and thanks to the good weather, the guests were able to take a leisurely stroll through the hall’s gardens to the church.

Once they were married, and their nearest and dearest had dumped a load of confetti on them, they took their first steps as husband and wife back through the gardens of Ansty Hall for drinks on the lawn.

Reception in The Orangery Suite at Ansty Hall

After the wedding meal and speeches in The Orangery, people took the chance to enjoy the last of the sun. It’s often a quieter part of the day, and with plenty of room to spread out across the venue, it can feel a little like hide and seek trying to find people! But the evening guests were soon pulling up and it was on to the cake cutting, first dance and celebrating into the night.
