Falcon Inn Fotheringhay Wedding
Getting Married at The Falcon Inn in Fotheringhay
Megan and Olly were married in the lovely little village of Fotheringhay in Northamptonshire. The wedding ceremony took place in the rather impressive Church of St Mary and All Saints followed by the reception in The Falcon Inn, which was, rather conveniently, right next door!

Olly spent his morning getting ready with the ushers and his best man at the Castle Farm B&B, with beautiful views of the river. Megan was a few minutes away at Lodge Lawn Cottage with her bridesmaids.
Snorkel Arch by Diving Club Members
Both Olly and Megan are keen divers, and their diving club was in attendance. The club had arranged a snorkel arch for them both as they left the church, which they knew nothing about. A great twist on a wedding tradition!
And so it was over to the reception venue; the charming, Falcon Inn. The great thing about the reception venue being so close to the church is that there’s no time wasted on travelling. It’s just straight on to the next part of the wedding day, and giving everyone more time to chat, catch up and generally have a good time!
The wedding had a nautical theme, (due to the diving) and the venue looked amazing! The centre-point for most people, though, was the amazing 3-tier cake complete with a fantastic underwater Lego scene across each section!
As the evening marched on, everyone moved into the cosy back room of the venue for the first dance. The size just made the atmosphere that much more special, and the dancefloor was soon full, with some rather nifty moves on display. Exactly how a wedding should finish!
