I’ve been a wedding photographer at Foxtail Barns since before it was even Foxtail Barns! I photographed a wedding years ago when it was Consall Hall & Gardens. And though the old venue is no longer there, the stunning grounds are as gorgeous as ever.

And the new Foxtail Barns venue that has been lovingly put together by the team at Best Day Ever Wedding Venues is absolutely fantastic! I’ve overheard plenty of guests commenting on how great a venue it is, and from a photographer’s perspective, it’s so great to shoot at. Big enough for people to spread out, but not so sprawling that your photos look like there was hardly anyone there! And the look and feel of the individual spaces are so perfect for your big day!

A LITTLE MORE ABOUT FOXTAIL BARNS

You have the option of starting off your wedding day in the private dressing room, with it’s HUGE lit mirror, comfy chairs, and refreshments. Always a good thing to have this option at your venue. Saves you and your wedding party cramming into your  mums spare bedroom while you get ready!

Next to that, is the lovely Orangery ceremony room, which is flooded with natural light, and on sunny days, you can open up all the windows if you want that semi-outdoors vibe.

Through those windows is the rustic walled-garden. A great space for lawn games and for kids to run around in the summer, and a nice spot for some group shots and portraits, too. 

Which leaves…the “Party Barn”! This is where your wedding breakfast, reception, and party will take place. It has a great double-height vaulted ceiling, loads of huge windows, and is just a fab place for a party! Once the sun sets, and they get the impressive circular ceiling lights turned on, it really looks something! 

If you’re looking for a single, exclusive-use venue to host your entire wedding, from the preparations in the morning through to the dancing, then Foxtail Barns has to be one of the best venues in the Midlands for you!
