Great Fosters Wedding
A Great Foster’s Wedding in Surrey
Although Derby’s my home, I regularly shoot weddings up and down the country. Natasha and Luke’s Great Fosters wedding down in Surrey was one such occasion.
I’ve probably mentioned it before, but I love the travelling part of shooting weddings. Getting to see new parts of the country is an extra little bonus for me. And, of course, I get to sample some of our finest travel hotels!
But I digress. After spending the morning with Natasha and her entourage, enjoying the late morning sun, I made my way to Great Fosters to meet up with Luke. Typically, it was raining.
Wedding Ceremony in The Orangery
The Orangery at Great Fosters is a fantastic ceremony room, with huge windows along 2 sides of it. And you know how us photographers love our natural light!
With regular weather checks we were able to make use of a dry spell and headed out into the impressive grounds for some portraits. Gave Natasha and Luke a bit of time to themselves to take it all in.And so to the evening reception in the Tithe Barn (’tis very old you know!) where there was much dancing to be had by all, including some rather impressive air guitar from one of the kids.
Thanks to Natasha & Luke and all their guests for a great day!
