A Spring Barn Wedding in Leicestershire
Laura and Dan chose to have their wedding at this beautiful converted barn in Leicestershire. Set in beautiful countryside, this Midlands wedding venue was the perfect setting for their sunny Spring wedding. This year, I was definitely glad that my wedding season started a little later than usual, as a month earlier, and these guys would’ve had a white wedding, with all the snow we’d had!

New Bridal Prep Suite
Over the winter months, the team here have been busy, and on the first floor, next to the master suite, they’d fitted out a great area for people to get ready on the morning of their wedding. Laura and her bridesmaids certainly made the most of the space, and had great fun sitting down at the Hollywood-esque dressing table together!
Midlands Barn Wedding Ceremony
The ceremony in the main barn under the exposed oak beams was fab, and Laura and Dan spent so much of the time smiling and laughing at each other. Just what a wedding day should be about! Having a good time with the person you love most in the world!
Seeing as they’d been lucky with the weather gods and we had blue skies and sun, we were able to make the most of the gardens surrounding the front of the venue, for confetti, a few relaxed group shots, and generally people milling around and enjoying the sunshine.
They finished off the day by putting the barn’s new outdoor pizza oven and dining area to good use. I think if it was up to me, all weddings would finish with pizza.
