Tithe Barn Hampshire Wedding
Relaxed Wedding at The Tithe Barn in Hampshire
Kat & Dave got in touch to see if I’d be their Tithe Barn wedding photographer near Petersfield in Hampshire. They’d first met me a few years back when I photographed their good friends, Vic & John, getting married. They loved the photos, and how I just blended in with the guests, and wanted the same for their wedding. And I’m so glad they did, like Vic & John’s, their wedding was packed full of personality and fun and love. Just how I like ’em!

Bridal Prep at Downlands Farm
Kat, along with her bridesmaids and family, spent the morning at a lovely chalet at Downlands Farm, about 20 minutes away from the Tithe Barn. The place was a hive of activity, with people coming and going, dropping things off, plenty of tea, and some of the best parkin I’ve ever tasted thanks to Kat’s mum! On my way to the venue, I was able to stop in at The White Hart pub, where Dave and his groomsmen were having a quick pint and sorting out the cuff links and handkerchiefs. It’s always nice to be able to capture both sides of the wedding morning.
Emotional Ceremony at The Tithe Barn
This pair were an absolute dream to photograph. Both with such big, genuine smiles on their faces. And both so expressive and emotional. Which is what makes for great photos. Seeing folks wiping away a tear, or letting rip with a big belly-laugh. I loved capturing both of them getting a little bit teary at the front, during the ceremony. Hopefully moments that they’ll both love looking back on.
The rest of the wedding day was packed full of fun and games. Each table had been a set a challenge of taking the most original group selfie. There was a flipping amazing magician wandering around during the day, leaving guests slack-jawed with his tricks! The wedding shoe game. Musical performances by the guests. Dancing from some of the kids. It was seemingly never-ending. I think it’s safe to say nobody had time to get bored or have a quiet snooze at this wedding. Well….almost nobody.
Kat, Dave, you guys were ace. Your wedding was ace. I had such a great time. And I hope this blog is a lovely little reminder of the day for you both.
